The term dolce (literally 'sweet' in Italian) is used in several contexts.
- In music, the term indicates that the performer should sing or play sweetly.
- In wine making, the term is used to label wines whose level of residual sugar makes them sweeter than an amabile (medium-sweetness) wine.
