so which Urban explorer (as they call themselves) wrote this this journalistic mess...my guess is a 905 escapee. the Uptown Theatre and the Elgin Winter Garden were quite far from each other. It was called uptown because at one time bloor street area was refered to as Uptown. There is a huge distance between bloor street and closer to Queen street, where the Elgin is.
