Compliments

My comments about your knowledge are purely complimentary (and self-deprecatory). In the past I have seen a lot of smart IPs who were actually editors from foreign language Wikipedias. Happy editing. Jehochman Talk 04:27, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spammer

Hi there. For future reference, when you see a spammer or vandal, you can warn him/her using the warnings found here: WP:WARN. After they have been warned typically 4 times and the behavior continues, you can go here: WP:AIV to report them and potentially get them blocked. Look over those links, and if there is anything not clear, or you need help at any time, post to my talk page. Thanks so much for your interest in helping curb spamming here!

Also, it's good to keep in mind that if they are not warned, you should assume that the editor in question thinks they are truly enhancing/improving the encyclopedia by adding their links. After it has been explained to them, and they continue, then perhaps a different assumption can be adopted. -Seidenstud (talk) 02:48, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
