Jim Rosenfield on WCBS-TV's News 2 at 5 2005.

Jim Rosenfield b. 1958 was co-anchor of WCBS-TV's "News 2 at Noon" with Cindy Hsu and co-anchor of "News 2 at 5" with Lisa Cooley (later to become "Lisa Hill." He left WCBS in April of 2000 to join rival WNBC's Live at Five with Sue Simmons unitl 2005 over a contractual dispute. In June 2005, he jumped back to rival WCBS-TV to take back his 5PM co-anchor spot, and gain the 11 PM anchor on CBS 2 News. He left WNBC only because long time anchor Chuck Scarborough is locked in as anchor at 11 PM for years to come, and taking this opportunity would allow him to have the lead male anchor chair. He anchors CBS 2 News at 5 & 11 with Roz Abrams, who jumped to CBS 2 News in April 2004 because she also wanted to anchor the 11 pm female chair, and her former 18-year employer offered Liz Cho the chair, instead of her. He also worked at WLS-TV in Chicago for nine years. Rosenfield replaces Ernie Anastos who got a $10 million over 5 year contract at WNYW-TV (Fox 5 News) in New York
