Agios Georgios (Greek: Άγιος Γεώργιος meaning Saint George) is a municipality in the Corfu Prefecture, Greece. It is located in the northwestern part of the island of Corfu and has a land area of 39.445 km² and a population of 4,958 (2001 census). It is also a settlement. The seat of the municipality is the town of Agros (pop. 460). Its largest towns are Kavvadádes (pop. 617), Agrós, Págoi (380), Rachtádes (338), Chorepískopoi (326), and Afiónas (305).

Information
Much of the houses were stone built until the 1960s. Electricity arrived 1970. Vehicles arrived in the 1910s, the pavement of the main road (1965-1970) and television arrived in the 1970s and computer and internet are rarely known in the beginning of the 21st century.

Agios Georgios has a school, a lyceum (middle school) a gymnasium (secondary school), churches, banks, shops and a square (plateia).
