Frank Sweet (born 7 March 1988) is an Australian actor.

Sweet made his film debut as Marcus in 2:37, which was released on 17 August 2006. The son of veteran actor Gary Sweet, he was born in Adelaide and is currently based in Melbourne. Sweet also plays in a band called Skye Harbour.[1] Frank and Skye Harbour recently won MTV Australia's 'Kickstart' competition for unsigned bands, and were flown to Sydney for the 2008 ARIA awards.[2]

Producers of the Channel 7 hit Dancing with the Stars considered including a "father-son twist" between Frank and Gary in the Season Five lineup, but Frank was ultimately dropped before production. However, the network's publicity manager is quoted as saying "He's definitely someone who is on the Seven radar."[3] According to the Adelaide Advertiser, "Rumour has it the star has scored a small speaking role as a mechanic on Channel 9 drama McLeod's Daughters."[4] Frank also recently appeared in a guest role on Channel 7's crime show 'City Homicide' as Aaron Linton.[5]

Also the step brother of Alexander 'Zandz' Menz who is a young man from Adelaide. When Frank returns to Adelaide (which happens on occasion) it is rumoured that they hold meetings, and discuss music and the band. The latest project to be reported, between the two, was a group set up that was in relation to the band called 'Shbom'. The origin for its true meaning is still unknown, and all that is known is that Zandz and Frank are the main culprits of this group. 'Shbom' as it has been called has also been rumoured as 'the first light at dawn' for the band and their biggest influence.

In a recent interview with The Brucepaper, Frank claimed to be working on a revolutionary new language. "It's a language party!" said Sweet.

The Brucepaper also awarded Sweet the much coveted "Moustache of the year" prize for 2008 in its December 21-28th edition. Sadly, the prize was revoked shortly after scholars sighted Sweet attending what they described as a "trimming party".
