On February 7, 2007, Tourette appeared as a contestant on [[pop quiz]] game show ''[[Never Mind the Buzzcocks]]'' (Series 20, Episode 2). During the show, footage of the ''Towers of London'' documentary was shown, specifically a scene in which Tourette aggressively berates his management and claims "I can fucking dick on the fucking [[Sex Pistols]]! The Sex Pistols don't have shit on me!". After which he calmly sits down and crosses his legs, as noted by fellow panellist [[Philip Olivier]]. |

Tourette also lit a cigarette during the final round of the quiz, to which [[Simon Amstell]] commented 'Wait a minute! Donny is smoking now! Whats he going to do next. A cigarette?! Which you can legally buy in shops?! I'll try to carry on but I am shocked and appalled'. Tourette was continually mocked by Amstell and the nature of his 'Punk' credentials. At one point, Tourrette held his crotch in a derogatory manner towards Amstell, exclaiming, "This is what I think of you, Amstell," to which Amstell replied, "You think me a small penis?" Donny continually referred to Simon as "Anstis", to which Simon replied, "No, I'm not [[Toby Anstis]]". At one point during the show, Tourette wasn't in his seat so Simon impersonated him, wearing his shades and smoking, saying "Did his helmet go blue?" referring to the start of the show when Tourette's team was asked why [[Prince (musician)|Prince]] got in trouble over a tin of purple paint, he replied, "Because his helmet turned blue?" Throughout the show, Amstell played an extract from the song [[Anarchy in the UK]] when Donny did something typically punk. When, in the last round, Donny's team was asked to name the next line after "I am an antichrist, I am an anarchist" (the song that Simon continually played while impersonating Donny in the show), Donny replied "I am the walrus?" Donny Tourette (born Patrick Brannan on March 4, 1981[1]) is an English singer-songwriter, best known for his work with the controversial punk rock band Towers of London.[2] He became nationally famous after appearing in the 2007 edition of Celebrity Big Brother.
Celebrity Big Brother
Tourette was the eighth Celebrity Big Brother 2007 contestant to enter the UK Big Brother House on January 3, 2007. He swore at the crowd and made rude gestures, some crowd members chanted 'Who are ya?'.[3] The host, Davina McCall, said that he "smelled like a brewery".
On his first night in the house, Tourette jumped into the Jacuzzi fully clothed. Later on, Jo O'Meara of S Club 7 pop fame, grabbed the double bed in the bedrooms, stated "I'm not sharing with Donny. I'd rather sleep on the floor. I can't sleep with a guy like that".[4] Leo Sayer offered to swap with O'Meara, but after a while entered the diary room, saying "Donny's all right, but seeing him sprawled stark naked is not appealing". In the end Tourette had the bed to himself.
