''"I deleted all discussion related to it since no one needs to debate about an already deleted article."'' - I wasn't talking about a deletion discussion for [[:Napoleon Dagalea]], which no longer needs a debate. I was talking about one for [[User:Angdl]]. --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 12:14, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

== Deleting Napoleon Dagalea from Wikipedia ==
The deleted article will eventually make it's way out of google's cache. The same would go for your userpage if it was blanked/deleted. The AfD discussion could probably be [[:WP:CBLANK|courtesy blanked]] if you'd like, and that might lower its google rank. --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 17:25, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
:I don't know how long it will take. I'll blank the AfD, but can't guarantee that someone else won't want to restore the info. --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 04:05, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
::Google has a type of [[cache|short term memory]]. The deleted article will eventually not show up in the results. It will pick up the article on your userpage though... --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 12:06, 17 February 2009 (UTC)<br/>
I have no idea how long it will take. I don't work for Google. If you're not interested in having any information on the subject appear on Wikipedia, I will be [[WP:MFD|MfD]]ing your userpage soon. Then there will be another deletion discussion page for Google to pick up on. --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 12:35, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
:It could be months before they're gone, but it will more likely be days. I think Google looks at Wikipedia pretty regularly. I'm not an admin so I can't delete your page. I could only blank it. If you wanted it to actually be deleted, you could put a <nowiki>{{db-user}}</nowiki> at the top of the page and an admin will delete it for you. The discussion on my talk page will remain intact until I archive it. I'll replace 'Napoleon Dagalea' with 'courtesy blanked' at that time. I plan to archive at the end of the month. --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 13:26, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
::I archive because I like to keep my talk page history as intact as possible. His name will be out of the discussion either way. --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 13:32, 17 February 2009 (UTC)<br/>
I can't help you with the others. As far as I know, AfD pages aren't deleted, and their titles aren't changed unless there are specific [[WP:BLP]] concerns. Again, I'm assuming that once Google makes it's way through again, the pages where his name has been deleted will be removed from the search results. --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 13:50, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
:There was nothing in that AfD that I believe justified the courtesy blanking...much less a renaming of the discussion. I only tried the blanking because you asked for it and I didn't think anyone would care enough to revert me. So, no...I don't think there's any way to make his page a BLP concern. --[[User:Onorem|Onorem]][[Special:Contributions/Onorem|♠]][[User talk:Onorem|Dil]] 03:12, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

== Re: Napoleon Dagalea ==

Deletion of Wikipedia pages such as AfD logs and pages is not allowed. Some pages may be courtesy blanked, and those pages are probably not indexed by search engines, but we can't delete them. We can blank your user page and I will remove the note on my talk page if you wish, but that's about it. --<font color="#cc6600">[[User:David Fuchs|Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs]]</font> <nowiki>(</nowiki><small><font color="#993300">[[User talk:David Fuchs|talk]]</font></small><nowiki>)</nowiki> 00:10, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

The article you created was just deleted?
All is not lost. Here is what you can do right now:

Many administrators will be happy to give you a copy of your deleted article, either by putting it on a special user page for you (a process called userfication) or by e-mailing you a copy.

Once you have the article, you can try to resolve the issues why it was deleted.

If you've repaired the article, or you believe the reasons for deleting the article were in error, you can dispute the deletion at Deletion Review. Generally, you must show how the previous deletion(s) were in error, but this is the place to resolve disputes about whether a deletion was wrong.
