In 2006, Mayra was crowned Miss Teen International and most recently in 2009 she was crowned Miss Puerto Rico Universe [1]. Mayra will now represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2009 [2] pageant to be held in Nassau, Bahamas on August 30, 2009 [3].
