Odd Della Robbia is a main character in the French animated series Code Lyoko, first voiced by Christophe Caballero and then Matthew Géczy.

He is the Italian/Norwegian prankster of the group, acting less serious and more carefree than the others in any given situation. This attitude extends to most forms of danger, which Odd only seems to take seriously when responsible for the welfare of others. While Odd doesn't appear to be a serious student, he maintains a 65% average, apparently aided by high art scores as well as his propensity to copy the papers of others during those tests he actually attempts to pass. During his free time, he prefers to work on music, film, drawing, other forms of art, as well as skateboarding, and trying to find his one true love. He claims in various episodes, such as in Swarming Attack and The Key, that he knows how the female mind works, that he has a "way" with females, etc. Naturally, he is horribly wrong, as most of the girls slap him hard in the face most of the time.

Appearance
Odd has long hair spiked to a peak, but not bristling with its eternal wick violet. The first of Odd's two outfits in the series consists of a long-sleeve shirt and bellbottom pants, and platform shoes. His hair is styled into a large point in the same fashion as his hair on Lyoko. He also has a purple diamond on the front of his hair (which is naturally that color, as seen in both "Unchartered Territory" and "Revelation"). In the fourth season, his outfit consists of a purple hooded sweatshirt with a pink shirt underneath, purple bell bottoms, and dark red-orange shoes. His night clothes are red and yellow, not purple, and probably due to the fact he did not buy them.

Personality and Traits
Odd considers himself to be something of a ladies' man, having managed to date almost every (similarly aged) girl at the school in the two years he's been attending it, sometimes two at a time. A recurring theme in the series is Odd attempting to impress one girl or another, if he is not already dating them. However he has shown more of a close attachment to a girl named Sam that doesn't attend his school, but these feelings might have changed as she withheld information from Ulrich about a Xana attack. He has also at times expressed interest in Sissi.

Another recurring theme, though less prevalent, are jokes about Odd's size in comparison to his eating habits. Despite eating two or three portions at every meal, Odd never gains weight or height, being the shortest member of the group, which is somewhat disguised by his platform shoes and hairstyle. The school nurse attributes this to Odd's high metabolism.
He knows, or at least claims to know, Pencak Silat, as he can be seen sparring with Ulrich on many occasions. In Attack of the Zombies, he even kicked a zombie version of Jim in the chest just after commanding the others to get inside the Cafeteria. Odd also stated he felt good after kicking Jim.

Odd is Ulrich's best friend, and shares a dorm with him at Kadic. He is a member of the eighth grade, but does not do well due to the fact he spends most of the time in class drawing pictures of Kiwi when he should be taking notes. His pictures are very detailed, however, and he puts a lot of work into them. He enjoys folding his tests into paper cranes, which Jim then collects. He knows various fighting techniques like boxing (how he learned them is not made clear), and has the knowledge of the stereotypical prankster, as demonstrated in Satellite when he picks locks to get his cell phone back. He is also good at performing music, as he formed a rock group called Pop Rock Progressives in Seeing is Believing and played the guitar for a play in Laughing Fit. He also does not like biology, as he states in Ghost Channel.

The lunch lady of Kadic, Rosa Petitjean, seems to have a motherly liking for Odd, most likely due to the fact that he respects her and enjoys her food.

Family
Kiwi (voiced by Barbara Weber-Scaff) is Odd's small dog, who boards with him at Kadic, even though pets are not allowed. After Kiwi was possessed by Xana, he traveled around the school and infected various students and teachers by biting them. In "Dog Day Afternoon," Kiwi and Odd's DNA were fused, causing Odd to adopt many of Kiwi's traits, such as a craving for dog food, heightened sense of smell, and the perception of having a tail.
Despite the rule against dogs, most of the students know about it. Odd also shares a room with Ulrich. The others have their own rooms or live at home. This occasionally results in arguments between the two on roommate-related issues. In "Distant Memory", it is revealed that Odd has five sisters, who he says constantly harass him by pulling pranks on him such as locking him in the bathroom overnight, and Yumi comments that they sound worse than her own little brother. His father is shown to be a combat general of the French Army, and his mother appears to be an artist.
After Aelita was brought back to the real world, Odd posed as her cousin in order to help her get into Kadic Academy, with Jeremie making a fake birth certificate for her. Mr. Delmas almost discovers that it's false in Wrong Exposure when he calls Canadian officials that tell him they have no record of an "Aelita Stones". An event in Replika confuses this cover-up when Odd and Aelita kiss to drive off Nicolas and Herb. This may show that in France that cousin relationships might be normal.
It can be shown that Odd is most likely Norwegian and Italian, due to the fact that "Odd" is a common first name in Norway, and "Della Robbia" would be an Italian last name, making it possible that his father is Italian, and his mother Norwegian.

Love Life
Odd has been shown to have a relationship with a seemingly African-American girl, Samantha Knight, who does not attend Kadic. her only appearances were in Rock Bottom? and Final Round. However, he has been shown to flirt with Sissi, such as in Kadic Bombshell. He also dated Sissi's penpal, Brynja at one point. He has also claimed to date every girl his age, except for Aelita and Sissi.

Lyoko
On Lyoko, he is dressed as a self-described "giant purple cat." The outfit is almost identical to the one he wears in the real world color-wise, but has no sleeves and is generally closer-fitting. To complete the "giant cat" motif, Odd only has four fingers (three digits and a thumb), complete with claws, and a tail. His forehead and cheeks also have purple markings on them. In the fourth season, he receives a new outfit almost identical to the previous one, except being a slimmer full-body suit, with slightly altered highlights, and with cat ears in addition to his human ones. His Lyoko outfit also has a drawing of his dog Kiwi urinating on the chest. His vehicle is the Overboard, a similarly-themed, two-tone, purple and pink hoverboard.

Odd's gloves are equipped with arrow launchers, which are his main weapon. Odd prefers to attack from long-range, using his accuracy to destroy monsters out of harm's way, but will often fight close-quarters in order to get a shot in. In the first season, he can only fire 10 arrows in one setting, but eventually gains the ability to fire as many as 10,000 with a reloading program created by Jeremie. Odd's powers vary between seasons. In the first season, Odd has the ability to see into the future, though not at will and only for short periods. The ability (as explained in the third season episode "Triple Trouble") was lost in the second season when Jeremie improved their abilities. In exchange, Odd gets an arm-mounted energy shield which appears when he summons it. His claws also allow him to climb up objects with ease. In the third season episode "Triple Trouble", Odd temporarily gained the power to teleport, but the program bugged up, causing him to duplicate himself both where he was when he teleported and where he teleported to. This led to particle disintegration after an extended period of time, thus forcing Jeremie to remove the power.
