The Biggest Winner (Arabic: الرابح الأكبر) is a Middle Eastern reality television show that began broadcasting on MBC 1 in 2006.[1] Filming took place in Lebanon. The show is a spin-off of the American reality television show The Biggest Loser. The show features a host and personal trainers who help the contestants lose weight.

Premise

The basic premise of the show is that overweight contestants are competing to win cash (and other prizes) by losing the highest percentage of their starting body weight.

Season 1

This season first aired in 2006 with 14 contestants. The contestants are from all the Arab countries and divided into 2 teams: Blue Team and Red Team. The winner of season 1: Jordanian Abdlallah Hamad won 250,000 Sar, and a Ford Explorer. On the reunion show, Iraqi Walid Alsaray won 50,000 Sar.

Season 2

This season first aired in 2007, and Walid Humaid from U.A.E. won 250,000 Sar. On the reunion show, Saudi Arabian Salimah won 50,000 Sar.

Season 3

This season is scheduled to premiere in October 2008.
