Shenendehowa High School is a public high school located in Clifton Park, New York, part of New York's Capital Region. It is part of the Shenendehowa Central School District [1] and serves the district's 9th through 12th graders.[citation needed] Both of the school's two buildings are located on the district's main campus off of State Route 146. The recently expanded East building houses 10th through 12th graders, and the west building houses only freshmen.[citation needed]
History
The original high school was built in the early 1970s and designed to be a model facility for its time.[citation needed]
Academic Achievement
The National Merit Scholarship Program awards high-achieving high school seniors with recognition. Recent shenendehowa high school National Merit scholar numbers are presented in the table below[2]. The high school students performed pretty well except 2008, when only one student became national merit finalist and school relocated more resources to sports programs.
