Tyler Farrar (born 2 June 1984 in Wenatchee, Washington) is an American professional road racing cyclist since 2003. He started racing at the age of 13. In April 2006, Farrar suffered a crash near the finish of the Circuit de la Sarthe that led to a broken clavicle, and missing much of the season while on his new team, Cofidis. He's currently riding for Team Garmin-Slipstream. Farrar briefly held the yellow jersey in the 2008 Tour of California after stage 2 after winning bonus points at intermediate sprints during the stage.
