John David California (born April 1st, 1976) is an American/Swedish novelist and author of the novel 60 Years Later: Coming Through the Rye, a purported sequel to The Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger. 60 Years Later is the story of teenage icon and antihero Holden Caulfield as a 76 year old man^[1]. John David himself is a bit of a wanderer, having spent time living in Cambodia, digging ditches for graves AND running triathlons. All while refraining from sexual intercourse.
