Hey Gioto. I have reverted this edit and this edit, both of which you made last August 31. In the former, you wikilinked the name of a town but it went to the wrong town. (I am checking, but it seems the spelling is wrong anyway). In the second edit, you added a See also to the Paeroa article saying that "the French burnt down a village named Paeroa killing 250 Māori before leaving" but it was not Paeroa. I'll have a look around to see if I can find out which village it was. Some histories say people were kiled but do not mention a town being razed at all. I'll keep checking. Cheers. Thanks for checking and sorry about the stuff up gioto (talk) 03:51, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, not sure what your request at WP:EAR is about? Please can you clarify at that board? Jezhotwells (talk) 12:37, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of WinGeno

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article WinGeno, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

possibly non-notable as defined by WP:N

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Thank you for the notice, I have no preference either way on these articles. gioto (talk) 22:19, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. LEt me know if you change your mind! Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 22:25, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated WinGeno, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WinGeno. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ukexpat (talk) 14:27, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the notice, While I have no preference on this article, I created I note that there are few freeware programs like it. gioto (talk) 02:29, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Archive

You placed the talk page archive you were trying to create into the mainspace instead of the talk space. Ridernyc (talk) 08:06, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed , sorry for the typo, you are quick!! gioto (talk) 08:06, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Family Tree Mapping

Hi Gioto, You reverted my changes to Family Tree Mapping - not sure why? The info I added is correct and useful to others. If you still have a problem with it, please let me know why. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adrianstrahan (talkcontribs) 13:03, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gioto, Thanks for responding. I take your point and understand where you're coming from. However, I still think that the information I supplied is relevant and useful to others. Since the section is entitled "Family Tree Mapping Applications" doesn't it makes sense to include the names of as many applications as are relevant?

template

Regarding this edit and template, I'm not altogether sure if it adds any value, but it is quite cute. Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 13:41, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
