Apple Bottoms is a fashion and lifestyle brand for women, which was launched in 2003 by multi-platinum recording artist Nelly, alongside Yomi Martin & Ian Kelly. Nelly’s vision for the brand is that “a woman should not try to fit the clothes; the clothes should fit the woman![1]

The brand, which when launched, was exclusively a denim label, and has since gone through a major line-expansion. Currently the Apple Bottoms label includes: apparel, footwear, handbags, eyewear RX, intimates, sunglasses, accessories, jewelry, cold weather, and girl’s apparel.

ICER Brands, LLC in collaboration with Nelly, holds the exclusive licensing rights to the product development and marketing of Apple Bottoms. Nelly works very closely with the design team to oversee all productions, and ensure that they are consistent with his vision.

Design

Apple Bottoms fashions have very intricate detailing on all of their items. All of the zippers and hardware have Apple Bottoms logos. Patterned fabric, which changes every season, is used to line the insides of the jeans' pockets. The eyewear utilizes the glamour of rhinestones and studs, to ensure that they have as much detail as the clothing.

The Apple Bottoms footwear collection, which includes everything from flip-flops, to over the knee club-boots, has as much detailing as the rest of the collection. And recently, the company came out with crib shoes for infants. In the crib-shoe line, they even have a boot-with-the-fur for babies. Rapper Flo Rida's song Low references Apple Bottom jeans.
