Rollback (add request)

I'd like to test the Huggle application Texcarson (talk) 14:47, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've been a user for a long time with several hundred edits. I've used undo many times to revert vandalism (As well as the old fashioned manual way) and have never undone any sort of constructive edit. Would just be a handy feature to have when the time comes for it really. ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 09:53, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Done, thanks for your work. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:59, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to be able to use huggle to revert vandalism. I have rollback on an old account (now unused) that I would prefer not be connected publicly to this account for personal reasons. It's not controversial articles, but something that could put me in danger. I'd be glad to confirm the connection in a non-public manner, and if necessary explain the situation more. If you send me an email, please leave a note on my talk page. RandomStringOfCharacters (talk) 05:49, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, please contact me. Nakon 06:11, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
While I am an avid Twinkle user, having access to this feature would make it easier for me to fight blatant vandalism. And, apparently, rollback is faster, which would be a boon. I have read Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback already and understand the limited scope of the rollback feature's intended use. I think that my edit history will show that I am able to identify vandalism and tend to err on the side of assuming good faith (Well, I'd like to think so.). Thank you for taking the time to consider my request. —C45207 | Talk 05:34, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have been fighting vandalism off and on for awhile. I use Twinkle, which includes a rollback feature, but it sounds like the Wikipedia rollback permission is easier to use. I think that this is something that would help me. Please review my edit history and let me know. Thanks. Joe (talk) 00:48, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I often spend many hours on my computer, and I want to experiment with Huggle. I love Wikipedia, and I feel this is the easiest and most efficient way I can combat trolls and vandals. Thanks. Harry (talk) 18:58, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - Please gain some more experience reverting vandalism using such tools as Twinkle or the undo button, then come back in a few months and re-apply for rollback. Cheers, Tiptoety talk 19:04, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a way I can test out Huggle? I really wish to use it, it looks like a fun program. Harry (talk) 19:06, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not unless you use it on a different project, which would largely be pointless, since from my experience the only projects that have a large enough amount of vandalism to make it worth it have restrictions at least as much or greater than enwiki. For example, eswiki requires 500 edits before you can use it. J.delanoygabsadds 19:15, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Although I think a few "months" is not really required - but a couple of weeks using UNDO / Twinkle would be good. Pedro :  Chat  19:18, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
