Ed Devereaux (1925 - December 17, 2003) was an Australian actor, who was best known for playing the part of "Matt Hammond" in the television series Skippy.

He appeared in several Carry On films including Carry On Sergeant, Carry On Nurse, Carry On Regardless, Carry On Cruising and Carry On Jack.

His great grand-nephew, Paul K. Devereaux resides in Slayton, Minnesota and is a student at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He is master of the "praying mantis" martial arts style and is the originator of the phrase, "what it do".
