Rena Kirdar Sindi (born 1969) is an Iraqi author, socialite and party hostess.[1]

Sindi was born in Baghdad and spent part of her childhood in the Persian Gulf region, where her father the Iraqi billionaire, Nemir A. Kirdar, who founded the merchant bank Investcorp in the 1980's, which later acquired Gucci, Tiffany & Company and Saks Fifth Avenue[2].

She attended Oxford University in England, with a master's degree from Columbia in international affairs.

Sindi arrived to New York in 1991 from London, and now she currently lives in Sean Combs's townhouse on Park Avenue.

Personal life

Rena is married to Arab businessman Sami Sindi from whom she has two daughters.[3].
