Dariush Arjmand (Persian: داریوش ارجمند, born 1944 in Mashad) is an Iranian actor.
Career
He earned a B.A. in history and sociology from Mashad University in 1972, and a M.A. in theatre and cinema. He also studied theatre in University of Paris (1980).
After many years of performing in theatre, he started his film acting career by appearing in Captain Khorshid (1986, Nasser Taghvaee), which was awarded the Crystal Simorgh for the best leading role at the Fajr International Film Festival.
He has played different roles ever since, most of which might be considered historical, as well as roles of drama characters.
