In [[2007]], his junior year of high school [[Cedar Grove]], Smith took a job as the "sports guy" for radio station V-103 in Atlanta Ga. Smith has said that his nickname dates back to High School, when he had a bit of a gambling problem, and when he came to school in a maybach everyday. He also lived in a three story house by himself.

Matt "Money" Smith (born August 28, 1973 in East Chicago, Indiana) is a Southern California sports radio personality. Smith co-hosts the "Petros and Money Show" (PMS) with partner Petros Papadakis on KLAC-AM, ("AM 570") in Los Angeles, the station's afternoon drive-time program.[1] As of the 2006 season, Smith also hosts the station's pre- and post-game shows (The "Lakers Zone") for the Los Angeles Lakers.
