Emmure

Emmure is an American metalcore band from New Fairfield, Connecticut, formed in 2003. The founding members, Ben and Joe Lionetti met Frank Palmeri and Jesse Ketive on the internet and began rehearsals together. Mark Davis joined when the original bass player had to leave for work-related reasons.[2] Some of the members are from Queens, New York. To date they have released two albums, The Respect Issue, on May 19, 2008, and "Goodbye To The Gallows", their original first. [3]

They finished a tour in the lower 50[clarification needed] supporting Misery Signals, August Burns Red and Burn Down Rome.[when?] This summer was spent on their headlining tour with Endwell, On Broken Wings, Ligeia, Recon and others.

Jesse Ketive is a former member of the band Warfix, where he played guitar alongside Bryan Goldsman of Southside Panic, Sean Murphy & Mike Kaabe formerly of Endwell.

On May 1st 2009, rumours of the Lionetti brothers departure from the band were confirmed in a statement from Joe Lionetti posted on www.lambgoat.com.[4] According to their page on Victory Records' website, Emmure have found a new guitarist and drummer in Mike Mullohand, and Michael Cobb, respectively.

They have currently completed their third studio album, Felony, released on 18th August through Victory Records. They will be playing songs from the new record this summer on the Thrash and Burn tour. [5]

On June 20th the music video for "False Love in Real Life" was released on MTV's Headbanger's Ball which was directed by Frankie Nasso who also directed the music video for "Sound Wave Superior"[6]

On July 22nd they released the first new song off the new album Felony titled "Bars in Astoria". On August 11th they released the title track "Felony" on their myspace.
