Hoping you're still here

Saw you blocked that anon-ip...hope you can help with another block. User:C-157_Challenger has persistently vandalized, and has made death threats: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AC-157_Challenger&diff=309199624&oldid=309199604 Is there any way you can get rid of him...listed at both AIV and ANI, but is causing a huge hassle, especially for User:Kotiwalo. Thanks! Frmatt (talk) 05:56, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I wasn't sure before but the latest was clear harassment. -- Mentifisto 06:02, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Much appreciated!! Frmatt (talk) 06:06, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure, but possibly User:Ron liebman as it says in the filter (harasser of User:Baseball Bugs). -- Mentifisto 09:43, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for the advice. You just made my wiki editing easier. Cheers Everton Dasent (talk) 15:10, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Feel free to ask any time you'd like (PS, here's more useful links to start on, if you'd like). -- Mentifisto 15:44, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question about editors blanking their own talk page

Could I bother you with some advice regarding a specific editor and also what is proper procedure in general. I'm asking you because you recently blocked this person for 24 hours. The editor is: 83.25.252.114 and I had noticed they had blanked their own user talk page. My guess was they did this in hopes of covering up their past when they returned. I undid the blanking and I noticed they went back in and blanked it again. Two questions: 1. Was it proper for me to undo their blanking of their own user talk page. 2. If someone does blank their own talk page how do other editors know what previous warnings they have been given? If they blank it, we'll give them a lower warning than they deserve. Thanks for any advice you can provide. BashBrannigan (talk) 20:56, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I usually don't bother if it's only a blanking. You didn't do anything wrong, but if it was me I'd let it go on the second one, too... it's not a big deal if the talk page isn't blatantly abused. For no. 2, if they blank it users can go on the 'history' tab to check past revisions (e.g.) and then there's always the block log. And thanks, Javert, for responding. :-D -- Mentifisto 22:08, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks but....
