Dr Ragnar Norrby, Ph.D., is the Editor-in-Chief of the Scandinavian Journal of Infectious Diseases[3]. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Vaccine Institute[4], and was the Director-General of The Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control (SMI) until June 2009.[5] He has also acted as the Chairman of The Swedish Society of Medicine and served as Professor at Lund University between 1988 and 2000.[6]
