InnoVida is different because it addresses, in a totally new way, both key components of the built environment: what the structural material is made of, and how the materials come together during construction. Both InnoVida innovations eliminate the need for typical natural-resource consumption, such as wood or the raw materials in concrete. Because InnoVida’s materials are structural, construction solutions are limitless. What can be conceived, can be built. The use of InnoVida materials and processes is not exclusive to specific architectural designs; any design can be adapted for the use of our materials. InnoVida materials and processes can replace, entirely, the need for traditional building materials.<ref>Staff Reporter, ''Khaleej Times'', 24 November 2007, "[http://www.khaleejtimes.com/DisplayArticleNew.asp?xfile=data/business/2007/November/business_November655.xml&section=business&col= Read Article]", 25 September 2009</ref>

InnoVidaPanels are Composite [[Structural Insulated Panels]] (CSIPs) made of a polyurethane insulation foam core that is sandwiched between two composite structural skins bonded together with InnoVidaResin.

Once the CSIPs are bonded together, with InnoVidaBond, they are seamless. The closed foam core becomes a monolithic structure that reduces air leakage and [[thermal bridging]] through the panels by providing a continuous span of structural and insulating material. The structure also becomes 100 percent waterproof, much like the hull of a boat.

InnoVidaPanels make stronger, more energy efficient, cost effective homes and buildings. The superior insulation significantly reduces the amount of energy needed to heat and/or cool the structure and provides excellent noise reduction.

Used for walls, roofs, floors and foundations, InnoVidaPanels can be used to build homes, schools, commercial buildings, warehouses - or any type of structure normally built using traditional construction methods and materials. In addition, due to the properties of the components, InnoVida can also produce floating platforms for any type of structure.<ref>Daily News Reporter, ''Tanzania Daily News'', 13 August 2008, "Housing Technology Comes to Dar", 26 September 2009</ref>

Due to their strength and affordability, InnoVida's panels are becoming more accepted as an alternative to traditional construction materials. They are stronger, more flexible than cement, steel or bricks and also non-flammable, waterproof and hurricane resistant.

They can also be formed into any dimension, shape, which is required for the structure. CSIPs reduce building costs by almost half because cement, steel and wood would not be required.[3]
