I added what I think is "talk" about the SMFA page.

Hi, I am probably messing up your page, and if so I apologize, I thought this was better than emailing you. You seem to be the person responsible for the "notable artists" list at the SMFA. There is an Art School Cheerleaders wikipedia article already so I added that to the list since it was started by a collective of SMFA artists. That performance group was actually performing during the same years as Kaiju Big Battel. I am writing to say, there is no section heading for notable Art Galleries started by SMFA faculty or alum. If you want to add that heading, see Mobius Artists Group and Bad Girrls Studios (both existing WIki articles). There are several more I am sure, I just don't know of them. One girl Jen Joyce had a gallery in San Francisco for a while but I'm not sure about its contribution. Thanks and again sorry for messing up your page. Revision as of 03:54, 4 October 2009

My name is Amy Fredericks and I am an astronomer working in Washington, D.C.

When I was a small child, I used to read my family's World Book Encyclopedia for fun. If that doesn't make me the biggest geek in the world, I don't know what does...

My interests include science (mainly astronomy, of course), music, movies, science fiction/fantasy, impressionism (although I'm nowhere near an art expert), history, mythology, and web design (which I love doing in my spare time, what little of it there is).

I have bachelors and masters degrees in astronomy from the University of Southern California and University of Maryland, College Park, respectively. Now I take the odd class here and there in computer science.

Stargirl Designs is my personal site.

I've been too busy with other things in my life lately to contribute much content, but I am on a constant watch (when I'm working at my computer) for vandalism. Eternal vigilance... Deadend pages are also fun to play around with.

This page has been vandalized 107 times.

Contributions

I've contributed to the following articles, among others (hard to keep this up-to-date)...

Entertainment

Astronomy

Art

Strangely, I've barely contributed to Eta Carinae. And have not contributed at all to Spinal Tap (if you've seen it, you'll know where 11 comes from).
