Baltic Film and Media School (BFM) was estabished in 2005 as a college of public Tallinn Univesity. BFM is the only higher educational institution in northern Europe teaching film, TV and media studies in English. Classes are currently taught by academicsand professionals from Europe and North America. Students start their first year of studies with practical tasks and assignments, and eventually graduate with an internationally accredited university degree. BFM offers a well-equipped study and production environment in the vibrant capital city of Tallinn, which is the largest city in Estonia.[1]

We offer hands-on three-year BA and two-year MA programs, as well as courses in

Facilities
BFM provides students with free facilities and equipment to conceive, develop, shoot and finalise film and TV productions in a professional environment. The school also manages a small TV study studio of 51m2 with adjacent control room. Larger TV productions are shot in the professional studios of Estonian Public Broadcasting house.
Members
BFM faculty and over 300 students hail from more 15 countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australia. Tallinn University has over 25 ERASMUS partner universities in Europe, which allows top students at the School to experience a higher education in another higher learning environment. [2]
