Notice
Your recent edits to a number of different article images may constitute wikihounding, and seem to meet a reasonable allegation of such. Therefore, I will have no other option except to post your edits to the Admininstrative Notice Board as possible harassment with a formal request that they be stopped, retracted, or more. --Wikiwatcher1 (talk) 18:54, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Requesting retraction
The list below, all made within an hour to five different and unrelated files created by the same user, included apparent erroneous tagging and requests for Speedy Deletion. You have given either irrelevant, or in most cases, no specific reasons. I intend to dispute your disruptive tagging, as stated earlier, at the ANI board unless you either remove the tags or give proper rationales. This kind of activity by someone with 3 years as a Wiki editor also strikes me as overboard and strange.

As you have apparently made it your mission to follow my uploads closely and dispute them at every opportunity, I will, once again, assume against all evidence to the contrary, that your edits, tags, third-party discussions, etc. are actually in good faith. As per my earlier comments above, most of your tags have to date been considered erroneous and removed. Yet you are now engaging in arguments with other admins as to why they removed or modified them. You have on more than one discussion page entitled your section using my user name as the subject. A few facts for the record:

A) Last summer, after finding a number of PD images that I thought would be helpful to some articles, I went to the Copyright questions board (don't remember what's it called) and posted a new section which eventually got pretty large after a number of admin responses. The question dealt with how to document and validate a PD image when uploaded. I stated that I was near a copyright depository and knew how to do copyright searches. All of the responses came to the conclusion that a "statement" to the effect that I had tried, but found no current copyright to an image was acceptable and reasonable;

B) I take copyright seriously and am familiar with its laws. I had a semester of copyright law at UC Berkeley in the early 1980s. I own about eight current copyright, trademark, patent, and intellectual law books (professional level.) I live about 20 minutes from a large federal copyright depository that I use when necessary; I am very familiar with the online copyright searches and use them often; About nine months ago, on an important (non-wiki related) copyright issue that I couldn't handle myself, I paid hundreds of dollars to have the Federal Copyright office do a number of searches for me; I have in the past applied for copyrights and trademarks; Until recently, I had been founder and manager of a medium-sized publishing company for over twenty years and dealt with copyrights consistently. On numerous occasions, I have worked with copyright attorneys, including an early attorney for Google. I can fax you proof of most of the above including a photo of my shelf of law books;

C) Reviewing your recent contribution list, an objective viewer might assume you are obsessed with my image uploads. So far today, my edits are the only ones you've commented about. Unfortunately, all of your edits have been clearly negative and accusatory, including your first comment to my talk page, whereby you immediately attack all my images as probably in violation of wiki rules and are a general copyright infringement. So far, the edits you've made to my images have been shown to be incorrect and the images valid. You have, on a few occasions, asked admins to "explain what you are missing," which implies a clear mission, as you ask others continually to help you achieve your goal of having my uploads deleted. You have similarly not disputed any other user's image uploads as you have mine. I seem to be a target.

However, realizing that I may have misinterpreted your editing record and despite what some may consider a pattern of harrassment, I will assume good faith on your part and that the above edits by you are merely coincidence. --Wikiwatcher1 (talk) 22:21, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
:I've left Wikiwatcher1 a comment about this warning on his talk page. At first glance, your actions seem sound- I certainly can't see any terrible edits, and double-checking Wikiwatcher's upload log was probably wise. On an unrelated note, I'm bloody terrified of whales, and that tail picture scared the hell out of me. J Milburn (talk) 22:39, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Linking this alternate account to your main account
Just following up from this discussion where it was suggested that you more explicitly make clear the connection between this account and your main account. I also think this would go some way towards avoiding such discussions in the future. Of course this would also apply to any other alternate accounts you may have. Thanks.
