Graffiti is the next studio album from American contemporary R&B singer-songwriter Chris Brown. The album was set to release in December 15, 2009[1]. On the album, Brown has worked with previous hit-maker Swizz Beatz as well as new collaborators including Lil Wayne.

Released as a digital download on September 29, 2009, the album's lead single "I Can Transform Ya", written by C. Brown, D. Carter and K. Dean and produced by Swizz Beatz features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz, has so far reached number 92 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The second single, "Crawl" will be released in October 2009 as a digital download.

Concept and themes

Since 2008, Brown started to work on a upcoming studio album. According with him, he will experiment a different musical direction for his new album, while hoping to emulate fellow American singers Prince and Michael Jackson. He says, "I wanted to change it up and really be different. Like my style nowadays, I don't try to be typical urban. I want to be like how Prince and Michael [Jackson] and Stevie Wonder were. They can cross over to any genre of music."[2]

Release and promotion

In order to promote the new single Brown's record label Jive Records revamped the main page of his official website[3] with graphics for the single and has allowed fans to stream "I Can Transform Ya" free-of-charge. Chris Brown's personal site MechanicalDummy.com[1] has also started to promote the track by placing the same free-of-charge service from his official website into blog posts.
