Ruthless is the second album by rapper Ace Hood, released on We The Best Music and Def Jam on June 30, 2009, just seven months after his first album, Gutta. While Ruthless beat out its predecessor Gutta debuting at number 23 on the Billboard 200 its second week on the chart it dropped to number 60.

Background

The first single of the album, "Overtime," was produced by The Runners and features T-Pain and Akon. The track compares the music industry as a sporting event, determined to win at all costs.[4] Schife produced the first promo single of the album, "Loco Wit the Cake" and was also featured on it. The second single is "Champion" which features Jazmine Sullivan and Rick Ross. The third single is announced to be "Born an O.G.", featuring Ludacris. Videos were made for Overtime, Bout Me, Champion, Loco With The Cake and Born An O.G.

Rick Ross, Akon, T-Pain, and Lloyd also appeared on Ace Hood's debut album, Gutta.
