Honour

There have been many discussions about spelling variations, including of the honour article, and it has been decided to stick with the original spelling. Please discuss potentially controversial moves before performing them. Thanks. violet/riga (t) 11:21, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

- I did stick with the originally spelling. All I did was put a () by the u to show that it's not always there. Hono(u)r is better than Honour because the u is not always there Foogol 12:28, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PSOne

In this AFD debate, you have voted for deletion since there is no distinct "PlayStation 1". However according to this Sony page there is a distinct PSOne console which is more compact and so is different. The engineering behind it could easily allow a separate article.

BTW. For future, you could have just done a redirect without any need to list the article for deletion. Doing this and just leaving the article doesn't cause any realy harm. It's useful for people who search for the wrong title. Mozzerati 22:09, 28 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

From your contribution histories, it is extremely likely that you and User:Foosher are the same person. Please be aware that sock puppetry (editing under more than one name) is strongly discouraged at Wikipedia. IPA

Please take the time to use IPA transcriptions. Here's how.

If you want "/e/" just type "{{IPA|/e/}}".
If you want "/æ/" or some other special character look at the "Insert:" box towards the bottom of the editing page and click on the character if it's there.
If you want something even more fancy like "/ʤ/" either copy and paste it from somewhere or you could use the Unicode number.
Use these numbers like this "{{IPA|/ʤ/}}".

A, B, C, D, etc word

Seriously, how likely is it that someone is going to look for 'bitch' in Wikipedia by typing in 'b word'?--Hraefen 21:01, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The "p word" redirect is unecessary and was deleted, I also fixed your "D word" redirect. I think it might be more constructive to devote your editing to other things, thanks. Arm 21:08, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I hate to harp on this point but it would be helpful if you could focus on other articles. I deleted the C word article. You may think the C word refers to crap, but it could also refer to other deregatory or profane terms. I think for the time being it would be best to not work on these articles, try and get more feedback from other users as what the D, C, or P word actually is may differ among people rather than be universal.
