Cân i Gymru 2009 was held in Venue Cymru, Llandudno. It was presented by Sarra Elgan and Rhydian Phillips. On the jury there were 6 judges, one was Rhydian. The winner was teacher Elfed Morgan with the song Gofiadau.[1]. The song didn't reach Moscow due to the UK's participation as a united country.
