History

TUI University (formerly Touro University International), was established as a branch campus of Touro College, New York on July 1, 1998, by former President and CEO, Dr. Yoram Neumann. At that time, TUI was accredited as a branch campus of Touro College by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. In 2005, TUI’s growth and sound fiscal and operational stability led the school to become independently accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). TUI University is now also accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges.

In July 2009, Mr. Kenneth J. Sobaski, formerly of Capella University was named President and CEO. Dr. Yoram Neumann was named executive chairman of the board for TUI Learning, LLC, the parent company of TUI University. [1]
