Redirect

[edit]

I suggest that the page "TUI University" should be moved to a new page name of: Trident University, and that this page become a redirect. Objections/concerns? Musides (talk) 22:43, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I made the move. --Musides (talk) 22:54, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Media content needed

[edit]

It would be ideal to have some additional media content in this article. Perhaps a photo of the headquarters, etc. --Musides (talk) 23:08, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

General Comments

[edit]

To whom it may concern, please stop vandalizing the article. Instead discuss the removal of content here first. Thank you. 67.127.185.150 (talk) 15:53, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Accreditation

[edit]

Relating to the statement: Although Trident University is regionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, its accreditation is threatened by allegations that it has "fail[ed] to ensure that students transferring in [to its undergraduate program] had fulfilled their general education requirements and, more importantly, [failed] to tell the accreditor about the problem."Is the university no longer having concerns with accreditation? I could not find the notice on their new website. Royalhistorian (talk) 08:14, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Still on probation: [1]. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 08:33, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WASC has removed Trident from Show Cause status and placed them on probation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.203.152.138 (talk) 03:20, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Accreditation whitewashing

[edit]

Several unlogged IPs have deleted the same content multiple times over the span of nearly three months, under the guise of "helpful changes." Editors who view this page should beware of of "whitewashing" of the section regarding accreditation.

I've semi-protected the page for a month, discussion of the issue can carry on here on the talk page for that time. Anonymous and newly-registered editors are welcome to make their case here to change the article. Franamax (talk) 05:56, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think the article is doing a fine job discussing the accreditation issue. If/when probation is resolved, it will make sense to move the content to a historical section describing the action while it would no longer make sense at the heading of the page. To anyone who is seeking to improve the image of the university, I think a simple task is required: contribute substantive and constructive content about the university. Surely this article requires more content to better represent the university and the work that it does. --Musides (talk) 15:07, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Would it be worthwhile having an "Accreditation" section heading for this article? Audit Guy (talk) 06:23, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe, and if either the whole article or the accreditation stuff was longer, I would say definitely - though I'll steer clear of any actual content opinions, I'm uninvolved here. But realistically, how much of the lede section would end up in the lede anyway, given that it is (presumably) a pertinent and thus lede-worthy fact? The end result might just be to describe the accreditation issue twice. Maybe you should just try it out. :) Franamax (talk) 08:00, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And now he or she is back to try to remove this important information once again. The information is important and shouldn't be deleted without discussion. But it's also historical information so I've moved it out of the lead and into a new "History" section. ElKevbo (talk) 04:53, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Page Vandalism

[edit]

Somebody keeps reversing important edits to the page and has now put it under restricted access. This meddling must stop! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.127.57.65 (talk) 18:45, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why is the page protected by people who are reversing the edits? 76.246.47.179 (talk) 20:01, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove the mention of doctoral programs from this article? ElKevbo (talk) 20:30, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
