User is blocked
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Jump to: navigation, search
You have attempted to edit a page, either by clicking the "edit this page" tab or by following a red link.

Your IP address is 169.244.143.115. Please include this address, along with your username (if you are a registered user), in any queries you make.

Your user name or IP address has been blocked by Doc glasgow.

The reason given is:
repeat vandalism

You can email Doc glasgow or one of the other administrators to discuss the block. You may also edit your user talk page if you wish. If you believe that our blocking policy was violated, you may discuss the block publicly on the WikiEN-l mailing list. Note that you may not use the "email this user" feature unless you have a Wikipedia account and a valid email address registered in your user preferences.

If you would like to know when the block will expire, please see the block list.

If you need to see the wiki text of an article, you may wish to use the Export pages feature.

[edit]
Innocent?
Sometimes IP ranges or shared proxies are blocked from editing Wikipedia. This means that innocent people sometimes can't edit. If this is the case, it should be explained in the reason given above.

Also, some individual dynamic IP addresses may be blocked, usually for a 24 hour period. Occasionally, users with dynamic IPs will be blocked accidentally, due to that fact that their present IP was previously used by a blocked user.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If this problem affects you repeatedly, and you would like to help us resolve this issue, you will need to contact a Wikipedia administrator and your internet service provider (ISP). The administrator should be able to obtain the time, date, and IP address used for the inappropriate behaviour in question, and describe what the problem was. You can then pass this information on to your ISP, explaining that you are unable to edit Wikipedia due to the inappropriate actions of another person using this ISP, and ask them to remedy the problem.

[edit]
Just reading?
You are not blocked from reading pages, only from editing them. If you were only intending to read a page and are seeing this message, you probably followed a red link. These are links to pages that do not exist, so they take users to an editing screen. You should have no problem if you follow only blue links.

Revision as of 18:50, 6 January 2006

Welcome!

Hello Jingofetts, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  KillerChihuahua?!? 15:57, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

thanks! --Jingofetts 15:57, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion per WP:STYLE

Please do read the links in the welcome message. Based on your edit history, I suggest you begin with Wikipedia:Make_only_links_relevant_to_the_context#What_should_not_be_linked. KillerChihuahua?!? 16:21, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Portals

Hi. There is a great interface at Portal:Browse for finding different portals. I know there is one for sports on there, but I don't think I've seen a Narnia portal. --CBD 19:41, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

User page

Hey, Jingofetts. I've just noticed you updated your user page, and although it is entirely your decision what to put on it, perhaps you would like to consult some other user pages to get an idea of what is generally used by looking around in talk pages and clicking on a user's name. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions by leaving me a message on my talk page (I've put a link in my signature - the little T icon)! JHMM13 (T | C) 20:35, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

tags

Hi Jingo- I think maybe you should limit the amount you use tags such as cleanup and update in articles. It is more helpful to describe the specific problems on the talk page, or better yet, make the changes yourself. See you around. ike9898 19:03, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

Welcome to Wikipedia! I notice that you have a lot of the same interests as Maoririder. Have you met him? (ESkog)(Talk) 19:24, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks and to ike I will use less tags. Thanks. --Jingofetts 19:27, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Looking better

Your articles are all looking better and you seem to be getting the hang of wikifying pages. I still think you need to do a better job of using tags selectively. As we discussed before, one tag goes a long way, and usually if I see a "wikify" tag I'll also cleanup and look to expand if possible. Same for other tags. Also, remember that {{reqimage}} only goes on talk pages - we don't need to advertise to our readers that something is missing! (ESkog)(Talk) 19:39, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

That you, Maori? - Lucky 6.9 21:43, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Lucky! Good to see you pal. I guess happy holidays! I'am better now cheers! write back ASAP!

Lucky sorry to tell you but i lost my password for Mao so i love jingo so hey i got it and now i'am better at wikipedia and that statement about the legal threats forget it sorry.

Glad to see you're back with us Maorider! Hope you had a great holiday and will have a great New Year! Remember to read Wikipedia:Your first article when you have some time - it's really helpful (I just read through it again today myself) and pretty short. Keep up your good work! Thanks! What are you doing?

What are you doing? Are you placing AfD tags on your own articles and then writing justifications for their existence? Please don't do that. If you continue to misuse AfD pages like this, or blanking other people's AfD's, you'll be blocked for vandalism. --Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 17:05, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Mentorship.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jingofetts (talkcontribs) 17:06, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to read Wikipedia:Deletion_policy#Commenting on a listing for deletion it goes over some guideline on how to comment so that we can keep the discusion fairly neat and orderly and so that people know at a glance what your opinion is. --Pboyd04 17:11, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You are creating articles Surf&Turf with misleading tags and disregarding policies and the messages like above. I'm not specially patient when it comes to purposeful disruption. You'll be blocked if you do the same again. --Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 17:19, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pablo calm down. okay man dont threaten me.

Block

Template:Vbc-t

You can't use policy against me. Your edit summaries mocking me are visible to all. You were warned sufficiently. Take advantage of the block to relax and to spend a Happy New Year in Real Life. --Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 17:25, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Or perhaps to read the information found by following the links in your welcome message, above. KillerChihuahua?!? 17:32, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock}} due to me being a previous "friendly" user. jin.

Tags again, again

As we have discussed before, please stop dumping multiple tags on pages without explanations. Let me know if you have questions. (ESkog)(Talk) 00:14, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'am not messing. Thanks ESkog I want my Maoririder name back so i will create hopefully. --Jingofetts 14:40, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Getting your password back

If you put in a valid e-mail address when you created Maoririder, you can go to the log-in screen and have it e-mail you a new password. Once you get in you can change your Maoririder password to whatever you want. (ESkog)(Talk) 19:07, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

no e-mail --Jingofetts 19:46, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
