Gallowwalker is a 2010 horror western film directed by Andrew Goth and starring Wesley Snipes and Riley Smith. Shooting has been completed, but the release date is still unknown.[1]

Plot

When a nun broke her covenant with God to save the life of Aman, her unborn son, he was cursed for life. As an adult, Aman (Snipes) has killed those who have crossed him. But his curse brings his victims back to life, and as the undead, they pursue him endlessly for revenge. Forever suffering this curse, Aman enlists Fabulos (Smith), a young gunman, to fight by his side against his undead victims.

Cast

Production history

The film first came to general attention in 2005 as The Wretched with Chow Yun-Fat penciled in to star as zombie bounty hunter Rellik.[2][3][4] However, the film dropped off the radar until the involvement of Wesley Snipes brought it back to press attention.

The filming in Namibia coincided with Snipes' tax problems.[5] The backer, Gary Smith, has ensured there was a completion bond as back-up, but Smith declared, "We are happy that he continues to turn up on set each day. If his indictment creates this amount of press it shows he is a star."[6]
