Educational institution IP address
To edit, please create an account at home and log in with it here.

Due to persistent vandalism, anonymous editing from your school, library, or educational institution's IP address may be blocked (disabled). You will continue to have access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address might also be disabled.

If account creation is disabled and you are unable to create an account elsewhere, you can request one by following the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. If editing is required for class projects, please have your instructor or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at the Unblock Ticket Request System with a contact email address that is listed on your school's website. Thank you for your cooperation.

September 2009

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Blow molding. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Wizard191 (talk) 17:35, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

1 year block

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 year for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Unblock request

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

82.203.3.6 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I feel some stupid people edit and I don't want to be punished for these people. In a way, blocking this IP address is like cutting of your nose to spite your mouth (or whatever the saying is) as most users of this IP address will not do bad edits

Decline reason:

Unfortunately, that one person's vandalism does make it necessary to block anonymous editing; those of you who are not the vandal should simply log in using your Wikipedia accounts to make your useful edits. It would, of course, be unethical for me to suggest that the employees of Synetrix Ltd, Innovation Centre should find the vandal and give him what we in the United States refer to as a 'swirly,' so I will not make that suggestion. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 20:21, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

FisherQueen, I am trying to log into my account (Vault4), but it won't let me do that as I am blocked--82.203.3.6 (talk) 21:41, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Vault4 does not exist; did you type this correctly? You should be able to log in and put an unblock request on your userpage even if you are blocked- you just won't be able to edit other pages. There's nothing about a block that should be keeping you from logging in. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:43, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vault4 is my acount on the wikias, is this user account not avaliable on here? If not, why not?--82.203.3.6 (talk) 21:47, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it's available here; looks like you haven't registered it here yet, though. I double-checked this block: you'll need to register from a different ip (for example, register at home), but once you do, you shouldn't have any trouble editing from work despite the block on the ip. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:57, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I do not understand what you mean when you say 'Registering'? please to explain?--82.203.3.6 (talk) 22:09, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's just like any other web site; you don't have an account until you create one. It sounds like you've created an account on a different wiki; the process for creating one at Wikipedia is probably similar. There are lots of different sites that use wiki software, but they aren't all connected- just because you have an account at a different wiki doesn't mean you have a Wikipedia account. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:11, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You said how I should register when I get home from work, what if this is the only access to the internet I have? I ain't able to register at all!! Is there any way I can register from this IP address?--82.203.3.6 (talk) 22:16, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you can find instructions here on how to create an account via email. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:18, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I tried thi, but it still says 'This IP address is blocked'. What can I do? I really wish to help Wikipedia, but Wikipedia ain't helping me! (Joke)--82.203.3.6 (talk) 22:25, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There's no reason your block should affect filling out that form; it isn't even hosted on Wikipedia. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:28, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, it says my IP address is blocked and that I need to e-mail somewhere. This is very strange.--82.203.3.6 (talk) 22:33, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does it tell you the address to email? I thought it was at WP:ACCOUNT, but it might be on the screen that appears when you try to edit- which I can't see, since I'm not blocked. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:35, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It tells me to 'email us', but my work's computers do not allow me to open the microsoft office program required to 'email us'--82.203.3.6 (talk) 22:39, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But you can surely view the address, and copy it into your email program? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:41, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing I have tried works. The computer refuses point blank to allow me the chance to e-mail the link, I can't set up an account even when there are ways to stop innocent users getting blocked because I get refered to the page which tells me to 'email us' and it seems the only chance I have of getting an account is if the IP address is unblocked for a short period, allowing me to create an account I can 'Hopefully' log in with after the block is reinstated!! (Deep Breath)--82.203.3.6 (talk) 22:59, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can't explain this; I'm on a mac and I do it differently, but you should be able to (is it left-click or right-click) on the email link and bring up a list of options including 'save email address,' which you then paste into your own email program. That's how I get around this problem when I face similar links. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:04, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Would you be able to unblock me as I cannot access my email (Another example of employers going TOO FAR) and let me create a user account (Vault4) please? If not, could you put a message on JeffPW's memorium page that Vault4 is sorry for the loss of a editor?--82.203.3.6 (talk) 23:12, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, I think I've done as much as I'm going to be able to do. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 05:37, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

O.k. Thanks anyway.--82.203.3.6 (talk) 08:06, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
