The Neblina Uakari (Cacajao hosomi) is a newly discovered species of monkey from the Brazilian Amazon. It was found by Jean-Phillipe Boubli of the University of Auckland after following native Yanomamo Indians on their hunts along the rio Aracá, a tributary of the rio Negro in Brazil. A formal description of C. hosomi has been published in the International Journal of Primatology.

According to the 2008 study of Boubli and colleagues, there are now four species within the Cacajao genus: C. calvus, C. melanocephalus, C. hosomi and C. ayresi.[1]
