Dan Brodbeck is a Canadian record producer and recording engineer/mixer based in London, Ontario.

Production career

Beginning in 1990, he owned dB Recording Studios in London. During the 1990s he worked with artists such as the Gandharvas and Garnet Rogers. In 2000, he became a partner at EMAC Recording Studios, where he worked with artists such as Headstrong, The Salads, Clockwise, Ana Loveliss, Landon Pigg . In 2005, he began to work on the debut solo album by Dolores O'Riordan of The Cranberries.[1]

He also taught music production in the Fanshawe College music industry arts programme for two years. Then in 2009, he became an instructor at the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology where he was a student towards the end of the 1980s.[2]

Brodbeck won the 2010 Juno Award for Recording Engineer of the Year for his work on the songs "Apple of My Eye" and "Be Careful" from Dolores O'Riordan's album No Baggage.[3]
