Erich Gonzales, (born Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco) on September 20, 1990 is a Filipina teen actress and one of ABS-CBN's Star Magic artists.
Biography
The youngest of three siblings, Erich was born in Cebu City but was raised in Davao City. After winning Star Circle Quest, she changed her last name from Gancayco to Gonzales which is her mother's maiden last name.
Along with her acting commitments, Erich is currently attending her college years in the Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City with her fellow actors Ahron Villena, Megan Young, Sugar Mercado and Sophia Montecarlo.
Career
Her career began when she won as Grand Questor in the reality talent search Star Circle National Teen Quest in 2005. She appeared in many ABS-CBN shows. Despite being in the intro trailer of the teen show Astigs, Gonzales was entirely pulled out from the show because of schedule conflicts with her other shows Super Inggo 1.5 and Your Song.
Gonzales is best known for playing the lead role as teenage mother in the TV adaptation of the film Katorse. Erich Gonzales is a host and performer as a part of ASAP XV. She is now considered one of ABS-CBN's lead actresses.
