== Somali immigrants ==

The Somali immigrant numbers looked suspect so I looked at the citation. The article--an unsourced blog post--says there are 30,000 Somali immigrants in the entire Seattle area. That number of immigrants in the city proper would be 5% of the total population and equivalent to half the African-American population. While there are lots of recent Somali immigrants in the city this number is just not credible. I'm going to edit that sentence if I can think of a way to do it properly, or else just remove it.

Somali immigrants

The Somali immigrant numbers looked suspect so I looked at the citation. The article--an unsourced blog post--says there are 30,000 Somali immigrants in the entire Seattle area. That number of immigrants in the city proper would be 5% of the total population and equivalent to half the African-American population. While there are lots of recent Somali immigrants in the city this number is just not credible. I'm going to edit that sentence if I can think of a way to do it properly, or else just remove it.
