I am now looking at the Irwin paper I mentioned in the FAC. He says there is an important division between larger, robust, heavy-billed martins, "plain brown above and a uniform dull reddish below" from central Angola south to the Cape Province and east to Transvaal; and a smaller, finer-billed form, "much darker, more sooty brown above, with the throat buff rather than reddish and the chest, flanks and abdomen strongly suffused with dusky brown, not reddish" from Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) north to 15 N. That's apparently subspecies ''fusciventris''; the other group is subspecies ''fuligula'', ''pretoriae'', and ''anderssoni''. He says the two groups are very distinct and could even be regarded as distinct species, but he collected five in the [[Pesu Gorge]], Rhodesia, which are intermediate: dark brown above like ''fusciventris'' and rich reddish below like ''fuligula'' etc., but more bright and cinnamon. He also gives weights of 18.5–23.6 g (mean 21.2 g) for twenty martins from Durban. Irwin suggests the two groups had previously been isolated, but were probably hybridizing on secondary contact.

Hi Jimfbleak.
I'm new to Wikipedia, so please forgive my ignorance. But why did you immediately delete my article on AMCP? I believe it is a legitimate and "notable" association, similar to the American Pharmacists Association site that is on wikipedia. I tried to make the article as neutral and factual as possible. We're not trying to promote or advocate for any position or seek publicity. Please let me know what I can do to make the article acceptable.

Just wondering if you deleted the [[Aaron Parkinson]] Wiki I recently created due to lack of resources. It say's you deleted it because of unambiguous advertising and or vanity page. But there was no advertising other then me stating how he created

Hi Jim,

As usual, I am looking for an informed but uninvolved opinion on this matter.

In [[electric bicycle]], one editor inserted references to predictions created in [http://www.pikeresearch.com/research/electric-two-wheel-vehicles this Pike Research report]. Another editor reverted, and ultimately used "Wikipedia is not a crystal ball" as his/her reason for doing so. I have great respect for both editors in question, but I do not agree with the use of WP:CBAL in this instance. There original insertion did not contain original research, rather it referenced a study whose conclusions included trend prediction. Note that this was not a peer-reviewed, scientific study, but I do not think that should automatically eliminate it as a valid reference.

The person who created this article (not me) went to a great deal of trouble to make sure it followed Wikipedia parameters. **Yes, like actively encouraging discussion at [[WP:BIRDS]] and at [[WT:FLC]]. Both of which I have done. Huge swathes of text, some of which is struck out, is a guarantee to put reviewers off. Hi. I just started trying to set up a Diabetes Insulin Tutorial page - and received a bot message to say that there could be a copyright violation - siting a similar website. The next thing I know the Diabetes Insulin Tutorial start page has been deleted.
The bot sited a web page hosted by Rick Mendosa. I made this material available to Rick Mendosa for use at his website!! I would like to expand the Diabetes Insulin Tutorial - and make it available for others to contribute to - and add to. Something which I cannot do at my own website which hosts the original source material on the internet. Please check out: http://www.2aida.info

I have been trying to write an article about truck tents and companies that produce them. Truck tents are becoming more and more popular and are at the forefront of new camping technology. I was wondering why the Napier Enterprises article would be deleted since they invented truck tents and are the leader in selling them. I have no affiliation to this company, I just believe it is noteworthy especially considering they invented it. I thought I made the article as neutral as possible since there are both pros and cons listed. What must be done to make this article stay?
