*[[Michael Corrente]] is the director/producer responsible for such films as [[American Buffalo]], [[Outside Providence]], [[A Shot At Glory]], [[Brooklyn Rules]], [[The Door in the Floor]] and [[Federal Hill (movie)|Federal Hill]]. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Corrente completed his first feature film in 1994. Corrente’s [[Federal Hill (movie)|Federal Hill]] is a black and white drama about a group of small-time Rhode Island hoods whose lives are upended when one falls for a Brown coed. Pressed for time and money, Corrente was forced to produce and direct Federal Hill in less than one month. It went on to win the Audience Award in 1994 at France’s [[Deauville Film Festival]], later being picked up for release by [[Trimark Pictures]]. After his debut, Corrente was asked to direct the feature adaptation of David Mamet’s award-winning play [[American Buffalo]], starring [[Dustin Hoffman]] and [[Dennis Franz]]. Soon thereafter in 1999, Corrente teamed with [[Peter and Bobby Farrelly]] to produce [[Outside Providence]], starring [[Alec Baldwin]]. In 2006, Corrente teamed up with Baldwin again when he produced and directed [[Brooklyn Rules]], a coming of age drama written by Terence Winter (The Sopranos), starring Baldwin, [[Freddie Prinze Jr.]], [[Mena Suvari]], [[Scott Caan]] and [[Jerry Ferrara]]. Verdi Corrente Productions is an independently owned and operated film production company headquartered in New York City. It was founded in 2009 by businessman Chad A. Verdi, and producer and director Michael Corrente. VCP has announced a slate of five films to be made over the next two years. [1]

  • Noah Kraft, Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O.) of VCP, is a Brown University graduate. Prior to working for VCP he has held positions in the International Department at 20th Century Fox Studios and EMI Music Publishing in London.
  • Tom DeNucci got his start in the film business while working as creative assistant to Director Michael Corrente. During that tenure, he landed a role on the Showtime series The Brotherhood. He recently has held roles in Inkubus and is set to perform in the Peter Facinelli film Loosies, which will soon begin shooting.[9]
  • Robert Rotondo is a Syracuse University graduate, published writer and marketing professional. He assisted with a variety of productions including American Buffalo, and is the writer of the upcoming thriller "Infected," scheduled to start shooting in 2011.
