Blacklisted

Blacklisted is a hardcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have toured North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the UK.

History

The band formed in the early 2000s, and comprised George Hirsch (vocals), Jay Pepito (guitar), Tim Smith (bass), and Zach Trotta (drums).[1] The band self-released their demo in 2003.[1] This led to a deal with the Stillborn label, and another EP, Our Youth Is Wasted.[1] Pepito left to form Reign Supreme,[2] . The band then recorded a split release for the Deathwish label, who also reissued the band's first two releases together as We're Unstoppable, described by PopMatters as "a furiously brief dose of old-school punk and hardcore dissonance".[3] The band toured the United States in 2005 and then Europe, and toured Australia with 50 Lions after the release of the band's second full-length album, Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God, in 2008.[1]
