I've corrected all the team disciplinarys and the disciplinarys for Howard Webb so that the artcile is up to date with the final. However, individual statistics still need to be updated. --[[User:AycliffeAngel|AycliffeAngel]] ([[User talk:AycliffeAngel|talk]]) 22:22, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Move "reason" column to the players table.

It makes more sense to me to have the reason column (for red cards) moved to be players table, since it's the reason a player got the card not the reason the country got the card. What's the opinion of the rest of the world? --83.128.23.210 (talk) 11:51, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Put the reason column in the players table. In fact, I think we should get rid of the team table and the referee's table altogether. There is a lot of redundant information and since the (tentative) remaining tables would be sortable it would make the page more compact without much info loss. Flag links

Shouldn't clicking the flags next to the team and referees names link to the countries national team instead of just the country in general? Tam1hibs (talk) 22:01, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A fine for a team with five yellow cards in a single match?

I've heard something about this but I can't find info about it. If it's true this article would be a good place to mention it. --Bahati (talk) 03:16, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yoann Gourcuff suspension

Gourcuff was sent out in the match against South Africa - France's final group match. The table says that his suspension will be served in a match against South Africa, but I don't think that's right. I think the suspension will come in his next international match, but that may have changed. 198.82.16.158 (talk) 20:58, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading total figures

Someone take a look at the bottom of the table under "Sanctions by referee". The figures for total number of matches officiated by the referees, and the total yellow and red cards given by them are not correct. They do not seem to be updated. The figures for the latest matches seems to be included in the table itself, but the editor forgot to update the total number. If one adds all the PKs awarded you get 11, and not 10. I hope someone fix this really soon. – Sandip90 (talk) 17:23, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

De Jong's foul

The 2010 final will be remembered for Netherlands persistent fouling and Referee Webb's failure to produce a red card for De Jong's high studs first boot into the chest of Alonso

We should have a section with details of the fouls in the Final, including this one.dinghy (talk) 21:42, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The total number of yellow cards seems to be different from the official Fifa statistics, any explanation??

Individual cards

I've corrected all the team disciplinarys and the disciplinarys for Howard Webb so that the artcile is up to date with the final. However, individual statistics still need to be updated. --AycliffeAngel (talk) 22:22, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
