The film stars Aamir Khan and Prateek Babbar.[2][3] Aamir Khan is said to have a lead role in the movie as a painter.[1] A.R. Rahman was approached for the music, but due to his tight schedules with Hollywood and a world tour, he declined the film. Hence, another two-time Oscar-winning Hollywood composer, Gustavo Santaolalla was signed it to compose the score and soundtrack of the film.
