Analysis is a major international journal of philosophy started in 1933. It is published four times per year by the Oxford University Press on behalf of the Analysis Trust;[1] prior to January 2009, the journal was published by Blackwell Publishing.[2] Electronic access to this journal is available via JSTOR (1933-1998), Wiley InterScience (1996-2008) and Oxford Journals (2009-present).[3][4][5] The journal deliberately publishes short, concise articles (less than 4000 words; preferably less than 3000) in virtually any field of the analytic tradition (except for primarily historical ones).
