History
Reckless Love is a four-piece glam/pop metal band formed in Kuopio, Finland in 2001. They released their self-titled debut album on February 24, 2010 and are currently on tour.
The band started its career in the spring of 2001 as a cover band under the name "Reckless Life ", which is also known as a song from Guns N' Roses. Playing cover songs was not what the band wanted to do so they started making their own songs.

Three Reckless Love -members are having a classical music background; the vocalist Olli, guitarist Pepe and the bassist Jalle Verne, who played in the Haapaniemi youth brass band in Kuopio.
History
In 2005 Kuopio was chosen to be the Popcity of the year in Finland and Reckless Love got to be a part of the Popcity -project. The project was planned to help local bands in their careers and to get international exposure. There were three more bands in the project; Rainbowcrash, Svat and Sideshow Zombies.
Reckless Love started their career in Spring of 2001 playing covers under the monkier of Reckless Life, a homage to the Guns N' Roses song of the same name. This lineup included current members Olli Herman, Pepe Salohalme, Jalle Verne and former drummer Zam Ryder. (These three members had a classical background, as they played in a brass orchestra in Kuopio, Finland.) After a good while together they started to craft their own songs. In 2004, with new drummer Mike Harley, Reckless Love won a local band contest and proceeded to release their first promo-single "So Yeah!!" by the end of the year.
Reckless Love made a mini tour called "Scandinavian Tour" with Steel Frank (also from Kuopio) in the end of the July 2005. The tour took the band to Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

After active touring for couple of years all around Finland Reckless Love's vocalist Olli Herman (as know as H. Olliver Twisted) joined in Swedish sleaze rock band Crashdïet to take the place of the late Crashdïet vocalist Dave Lepard who sadly ended up in suicide in year 2006. Crashdïet released an album "The Unattractive Revolution" and made an European tour. About one and a half years later, 13 July 2008, the band told on their website that Olli Herman has left the band, because he can not fully work in two bands.
In 2005, Reckless Love particpated in a local Kuopio project called Popcity , as Kuopio was nominated the "Popcity" of the year. Reckless Love released the single "Light But Heavy" as a product of the Popcity project. The purpose of Popcity was to help local bands in their career and to gain them some international exposure. Three other local bands took part: Rainbowcrash, SVAT and Sideshow Zombies. Reckless Love initiated a mini-tour called the "Scandinavian Tour" (with another Kuopio band, Steel Frank), covering Sweden, Norway, and Denmark in 2005.

In January 2009 Reckless Love told on their website that their drummer Mike Harley has left the band. In less than a week they had new drummer Hessu Maxx. The band underwent the change as a significant step in their musical development.
After a few years playing shows around Finland, frontman Olli (known as H. Olliver Twisted at this point) went on to be the lead singer of a Swedish sleaze rock-band Crashdïet in January 2007, after former singer Dave Lepard passed away in 2006.

Reckless Love made a record contract with Universal Music 23 April 2009. They published their first official single, "One More Time", 8 June 2009. YleX radio station played the single in their Rytmibarometri section 9th July 2009. "One More Time" got in the YleX Himotuimmat list in week 25 by reaching the second place in the list in 15 August.
During Olli's stint in Crashdïet, "The Unattractive Revolution" was released in 2007 and a tour of Europe followed shortly after. However, on July 13th 2008, the official Crashdïet website stated that Olliver Twisted could not deal with two full time vocalist positions any more; in other words, Olli left Crashdïet for Reckless Love.

The second single is "Beautiful Bomb" and it was published 15th October 2009. The music video was filmed in 3rd October. It was published 4th November 2009 by being the first official music video for Reckless Love. "Beautiful Bomb" single reached the 4th place of YleX Himotuimmat list in 28 November 2009.
In January 2009, drummer Mike Harley left the band only to be replaced by Hessu Maxx (known for playing with Jarkko Ahola of Teräsbetoni ) a week later. This unexpected lineup change, however, proved to have inspired the band's creativity and helped to define their musical direction.
