I am a Canadian, living in Victoria, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Born in Toronto of Irish immigrant parents, I grew up in the Trudeau era (for better or worse). I have been fortunate enough to have been able travel across the country as far east as the beautiful Cape Breton Island and lived in Quebec City for a year to study at l'université Laval before returning to settle in Victoria. As I studied Spanish along the way I have contributed to the Spanish Wikipedia by taking a first crack at articles on Victoria and the Gulf Islands.
