Born in [[Ankara, Turkey]], Bulent Ortacgil studied chemical engineering at the Istanbul University. In 1974 he released his first album (a vinyl LP, ''[[Benimle Oynar misin]]'' - Would You Play With Me?) which did not become an instant hit then but nevertheless after some two decades it is considered as the only work that has an everlasting effect on the Turkish popular/rock music scene.

Bulent Ortacgil (born 1950) is a Turkish composer and singer.

Born in Ankara, Turkey, Bülent Ortaçgil studied chemical engineering at the Istanbul University. In 1974 he released his first album, a vinyl LP titled Benimle Oynar Misin (Would You Play With Me?).
